Thanks to all who submitted photos of their lovely poodles.
All the photos are wonderful.
From the judge: There were some lovely poodles photographs for me to judge, thank you for the entries. I was looking for photographic merit where possible, in particular good light, good composition, sharpness, lack of clutter, suitable background,
etc. All the shots will be precious to the owners, who may well wonder why their shot hasn't won or been commended but sadly they may not be really great photographs, because they fell down on some of the above factors. I also looked for character so that I could relate to the poodle.

Gunnar, 7 1/2 years, handsome, blue boy, 27 inches and 27 kg. Mr Helpful!
A delightful strong portrait, sharp from tip of nose through to eyes and top of head. Great eye contact, and good to get down to the dog's level. Background out of focus, thereby showing off clearly the dog's face (the part which really matters with a good portrait).

Odie!
Great action shot, the dog is clearly having fun! Not only is it successfully clearing the hurdle, it seems to be anticipating the next hurdle/obstacle! Lovely lighting which shows off well the dog's coat and sparkling eyes. Nice and sharp shot, with a nicely diffused background.
