Pronounced "tryball", treibball is a simple sport, originally designed to give herding breeds something to do. The goal is for the dog to use his nose to move 8 large balls into a goal net without physical assistance from the owner within an allotted time (although signaling or vocal commands are used). Treibball started in Germany, became moderately popular in the USA, and is available in a few places in the UK.
